The day was great to watch and was very well organised.
The recent SEKF Interclub competition was a great success with some fantastic katas on display followed by some quite amazing kumite. I was extremely pleased with the overall standard of the competitors and also received great feedback from the parents concerning their attitude whilst competing. Well done everyone!
The day started with the kata as usual with Cameron Downer, Zak Smyth, James Miguel, Lucy Smith, Talia Phillips, and Lily Boyington performing some great katas to win their respective categories. The kumite followed and was really exciting to watch, especially the advanced categories as the SEKF squad members really showed an array of great techniques. The following students all won gold in their respective categories, Thomas Kydd-Coutts, Joe Grimwood, Zak Smyth, Aaron Piper, Toby Jeffcock, Noah Dennett and Alessio Sebis.
I would like to mention a special well done for our Elite Squad member Zak Smyth who managed to win Gold in both the Kata & Kumite.
