SEKF Squad Success

The SEKF Elite and A'squad attended the UK Open Karate Championships in the Midlands, winning Three silver medals and Four Bronze medals.  A few of the squad members competed at Kata for the first time for the SEKF after over a year of hard Kata training under our Squad coaches and the watchful eye of England Kata Coach Jonathan Mottram. Cameron Downer won Silver after a very close final and Patchouli Philips won Bronze.

In the Kumite the 16-17 yrs cadet team which consisted of Nick Issacson, Thomas Kydd-Coutts and Tom Moore won Silver, along with Jessica Spiers who won a well deserved Silver in the 16-17 yrs category. Louis Narraine, Joe Grimwood and Jack Fisher won Bronze medals in their respective categories. Well done everyone!
