Thomas Kydd-Coutts

Thomas is a 1st kyu brown belt and Elite squad member who is a great inspiration to others due to both his karate and personal achievements, recently passing his GCSE exams with 7A* and 5 A's. 

Here are a few of Thomas' comments " Being a mentor has provided me with fantastic opportunities. Karate is a fantastic way for me to train in self defence and the club has allowed me to do that whilst guiding others"

 

Jack Fisher

Jack has recently achieved his black belt after ten years of committed training. Jack is an elite squad member who competes at both kumite and kata.

Jack has commented " I have been training with Freestyle Combat Karate for 10 years and obtained my black belt in July. I am on the elite squad and have been competing at national level over the last 4 years and have won several medals. I am just starting 6th form at Highcliffe School studying PE, psychology, biology and film studies. my other hobbies are playing table tennis and football"

 

Nick Issacson

Nick has recently achieved his black belt after nine years of committed training and is a member of our elite squad currently competing nationally at both kata and kumite, Nick is also the team captain for the SEKF squad.

Nick will be off to university soon at either Manchester or Bristol but will not let this stop him continue to train hard and support the SEKF squad.
